Oil is down today: weak demand has completely outweighed the Georgian conflict.

Oil prices are expected to extend a rally, however, due to weak US stockpiles.

A weakened dollar is also creating fluctuating oil prices.

Fill Up on News – 8/12/08


Oil traders were more or less indifferent to the Russian attack on the Georgian pipeline.

Pelosi acknowledges that she might just allow for a vote on the oil drilling legislation.

There are three “truths” about offshore drilling that are entirely unaccurate.

Oil fell about one dollar a barrel thanks to the dollar climbing in value against foreign currency.

The Russians have ordered to end their attack on Georgia, hopefully putting any supply worries to rest.
